I guess it's not surprising in the end that the compression was causing the pixilation. Trying "convert tx_sky_rainy1.dds -define dds:compression=none tx_sky_rainy.dds" worked as needed. Trying "convert tx_sky_rainy1.dds -define dds:cluster-fit=true tx_sky_rainy.dds" improved the quality but there was still noticeable blocky-ness. ![]() Also, I notice that every skin in the skin-pack is exactly the same size which implies that Neoqb is doing the compressing. Compressed, the image has artifacts and other un-niceties. Not all plugins will run in Windows if the OS is 64bit. Once in the GIMP main folder navigate to libgimpversion where as version represents the version of Gimp. My problem is that,uncompressed, the resulting file gets a 'too big' warning in the viewer.
